Step-by-step instructions for the donuts
Step 1 Preheat your oven to 175°C / 350°F.
Step 2 Melt the butter, either in a small saucepan on your stove or in your microwave.
Step 3 Add the melted butter, vegetable oil, white granulated sugar, light brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, whipping cream and milk into your mixing bowl. Whisk until the batter becomes smooth.
Step 4 Add the sifted all-purpose flour, matcha green tea powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt into your mixing bowl.
Step 5 Whisk once more until the batter becomes smooth again.
Step 6 Spray your donut pan lightly with the nonstick cooking spray. Use a tablespoon to ladle small amounts of the batter into the rounds until about 75% filled.
Step 7 Bake the donuts in your donut pan on your oven's middle rack for 12 minutes.
Step 8 Remove the donut pan from the hot oven, using oven gloves. Let the donuts cool on your kitchen counter while still in the donut pan for 10 mins.
Step 9 Turn the donut pan over onto a wire cooling rack. Let the donuts cool for another 15 mins.
